Maison Peyrat

Villa n°16, the latest Maison Peyrat novelty !

Somewhere between the warm sun of the Atlantic coast and the cool vines of the Charentes you’ll find Villa n°16, a unique Whisky that is produced, aged and distilled in France. Its clean, woody structure is inspired by the diverse landscape of the Southwest, paying homage to this land of endless emotions and sensations.

Aged in French and American oak casks for 3 years, then held for a further period in Cognac and Pineau des Charentes barrels, it has a rich and powerful aromatic profile and a deep, balanced olfactive palette. This exceptional single malt is rich, generous and welcoming, displaying notes of malted French grains, Bourbon vanilla and delicately toasted oak, with hints of subtly fine and fruity touches of Pineau.

In the mouth, there’s an elegantly balanced combination of Bourbon vanilla, pitted fruit and French grains which evolves into complex impressions of fine-grain leather and blond tobacco, finishing with generous, smoky notes.
